One dead after horror shootout in France – police scrambled to major emergency

Police are working on the crime scene where a man in his twenties was shot dead by an officer during his arrest, the French prosecutor for Nice told local media. The incident comes as violent crime, and law and order, are heavily discussed among voters and politicians ahead of France’s upcoming presidential election.
