Erika Jayne hosted an unofficial Q&A session on Twitter on Friday night, where she spoke of the upcoming reunion for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
After confirming she will attend the taping, Erika, who is in the midst of a financial investigation due to ongoing bankruptcy proceedings against her estranged husband Thomas Girardi, explained why she didn’t bow out amid production on season 11 and looked toward her future.
“Will you be at the reunion?” a fan asked on August 6.
“Yes,” Erika replied.
A second pointed out that Erika could have walked away from filming after her and Thomas’ legal scandal first erupted at the end of last year with accusations of the couple having embezzled $2 million from his former clients.
“The crazy thing is you could’ve easily given up and said I don’t wanna do this anymore, and you’re completely letting it all play out. It’s what you signed up for, and you’re not backing down. Thats why I believe you and am standing by you!” the fan said.
“I didn’t want to quit because it got rough,” Erika responded. “Life is tough for everyone at some point. I would of let myself down by running away.”
Erika also agreed with a fan who said that while many have claimed she shouldn’t be flaunting her luxurious life on RHOBH, they would have likely criticized her for leaving the show if she had taken that route.
“The same people telling you not to go on TV are the same ones who would’ve [criticized] [you] for leaving,” the person stated.
“I agree. There is no winning,” Erika wrote.
A fourth fan asked Erika, “What’s the show to you?”
“Good question. It’s many things to me, and unfortunately this season is painful and and you are watching a massive change in my life,” she shared. “Change happens to everyone but mine just happens to be on TV and up for discussion.”
Erika then shared some words of inspiration for her future, writing, “I can’t stop what’s happening, I just have to keep going.”
Meanwhile, on Instagram, Erika re-shared a number of posts from her supporters who deemed themselves “Team Erika.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 11 airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
