US decision to keep UK travel ban lacking ‘mutual balance’ according to British expat

Currently, Britons are not allowed to enter the US if they have been in the UK in the previous 14 days.

The US is on the amber list, meaning fully-vaccinated US travellers can enter the UK without restrictions.

Secretary of State for Transport, Grant Shapps, announced fully-jabbed US visitors will be able to skip quarantine from August 2.

When asked if the US will reciprocate, he said “that depends.”
