While international holiday destinations are uncertain, you can go on holiday within the UK very soon.
From April 12, holidays within the UK can go ahead in England.
In Wales, people are already able to travel freely within the country but self-contained accommodation was allowed to reopen on March 27.
Scotland may open up to the rest of the UK by the end of April, but it is uncertain when Northern Ireland will allow other citizens from other countries in the UK to holiday in the country.
People in England are desperate for April 12 to arrive so they can start going on holiday within the UK, but this depends on the government’s conditions being met.
If the Government thinks it is safe to allow people in England to move around and stay overnight in different locations, only members of the same household or bubble can travel together.
