France lifts ban on Britons from tomorrow with vaccinated tourists allowed in

The French Government is reopening the country’s borders to Britons.

A decree, which will be published “tomorrow” has been announced by Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne on Twitter.

“We are relaxing the entry conditions in [France] from [UK] for vaccinated travelLers.

“End of compelling reasons and isolation on arrival.

“A negative test < 24h will be requested at the start.

“The decree will be published tomorrow morning, with immediate entry into force.”

It will also be the end of self-isolation for Britons entering France.

The only requirement mentioned was a negative test, but it’s not yet clear whether it will be a PCR or lateral flow test.

The test will need to be taken within 24 hours of departure.
