Online reports suggest that the Xiaomi 11T Pro will come with 120W HyperCharge fast charging support. This is based on what appears to be a leaked promo video.
The 120W fast charging support was launched by Xiaomi in 2020 and Xiaomi’s recently launched flagship smartphone — Mi Mix 4 — offered support for the same.
As of now, Xiaomi has not officially confirmed the name of the devices it plans to launch on September 15 or their features. Besides the 11T Pro, Xiaomi is also expected to launch 11 11T and Pad 5 series on that day for global markets.
Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro expected specifications
Rumours suggest that the 11T and 11T Pro smartphones will come with an OLED panel. There is some contradiction on the type of chipset that may power the devices as some reports suggest it could be MediaTek’s flagship SoC — Dimensity 1200 chipset, while others suggest that it could be Qualcomm’s flagship SoC — Snapdragon 888 SoC.
For imaging duties, the two handsets are likely to house a triple camera setup where the primary camera is a 64MP sensor.
The duo are rumoured to house a 5000mAh battery and be available in three colour options of Celestial Blue, Meteorite Gray, and Moonlight White.
Mi branding dropped
For those who are wondering why there is no “Mi” branding then that’s because just this month the company decided to ditch the Mi branding for its premium handsets.
Xiaomi launched the first ‘Mi’ branded smartphone ten years ago, which will now be dropped. The first devices with the new branding were actually the Mix 4 smartphone and the Pad 5 tablet series.
