Vivo Y19 starts receiving Android 11 update in India – Eagles Vine

NEW DELHI: Vivo has started rolling out Android 11 update for its budget smartphone Vivo Y19 in India. Some Vivo Y19 users took to Twitter to reveal that they have started receiving the Android 11 update for the smartphone.
Launched in 2019, this is the second major software update for the smartphone as it received Android 10 update last year.
The update weighs 3.2GB in size and users also get the latest FunTouch OS 11 with the software update. There is no information as to which security patch is attached to the software update.
With the Android 11 update, the Vivo Y19 users will be able to experience features like default screen recorder, better media controller, native smart home control, one-time permission to apps, security fixes via Google Play and others.
Vivo Y19 specifications
As mentioned above the smartphone was launched in 2019. It comes with a 6.53-inch full-HD+ Halo FullView display.
Vivo Y19 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P65 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. The smartphone packs 128GB of internal storage which can be expanded via the MicroSD card.
For the imaging duties, you get a triple rear camera setup in Vivo Y19. The rear camera consists of a 16MP main sensor, 8MP ultra- wide-angle lens and 2MP depth sensor. On the front, you also get a 16MP selfie shooter.
The dual-SIM smartphone is backed by a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
