Realme GT, GT Neo smartphones to launch in India in May, confirms company – Eagles Vine

NEW DELHI: Smartphone maker Realme is all set to launch its Realme GT series of smartphones globally. The company has also revealed the details of the India launch of its flagship smartphone series.
As reported by TechRadar, Realme’s CMO, Francis Wong has revealed the India launch details of the Realme GT series. During a question and answer session for the Realme community, Francis revealed that the company will launch it as part of its 3rd anniversary celebration.
To recall, Realme started its India operations on May 4, 2018. This means that the company will launch its Realme GT series on May 4, 2021.
Recently, the Realme GT Neo smartphone was also spotted on BIS certifications. This also confirms that the company will soon launch the smartphone in India.
Realme has already launched the Realme GT 5G smartphone in China and it is the first phone of the company to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor.
The design of Realme GT 5G is inspired by sports cars and it comes in two glass versions. On the 3D glass back cover, the silver version is designed with countless delicate optical grade textures. On the other hand, the blue version uses a special optical film on the back cover.

Realme GT 5G runs Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own Realme UI 2.0. The smartphone comes in two variants — 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage and 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
The smartphone is backed by a 4500mAh battery with 65W Super Dart charging support. The handset sports a triple rear camera setup with 64MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, LED flash, Sony IMX682 sensor, 8MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.3 aperture, 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. The front is home to a 16MP selfie camera with an f/2.5 aperture.
Realme GT features a 6.43-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The display offers a 120Hz refresh rate.
