Microsoft starts testing a new night mode for Xbox – Eagles Vine

Microsoft has started testing a new night mode for its Xbox gaming consoles. The new night mode for Xbox is now available for Xbox Insider users’ in the Alpha Skip-Ahead ring. The night mode seems to make gaming more comfortable for players during late night gaming sessions.
The new night mode gives users the ability to adjust controller LED brightness, dim their screens and Xbox power button. In addition to that, the update also grants users tons of other customisation options such as multiple dimming levels, blue light filter and more.
With the new night mode, the power button light on the controller can be dimmed or completely turned off as well. There’s also an option to set the system-wide dark mode on and turn off HDR when night mode is enabled.
Users can enable or disable night mode manually or they can schedule it at sunset and exit with sunrise automatically.
The feature is currently available for Xbox Insiders and it could take a while and lots of testing before reaching the final build and all Xbox users.
