Sony’s WF-1000XM4 earbuds have appeared online via a leaked video by Sparrows News which is most likely the promotional video of the product from the Japanese technology company. As per the details revealed in the video, the earbuds are expected to come with a new, custom V1 processor and new sound drivers too. They will be IPX4-rated and come with support for both Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.
The earbuds will come with an internal and external dual feedback noise reduction module, and have adaptive noise cancelling, which should improve upon the noise cancellation from previous devices. The earbuds are claimed to be able to run for 8 hours on their own and for a complete 24 hours with the help of the charging case. The case could be charged with the help of a USB Type C cable or using wireless Qi charging.
Sony could launch these earbuds in two colour options: Black Gold or Platinum Silver. However, there has been no official word regarding the launch date of the earbuds.
