WWE champion Bobby Lashley expressed his desire to come to India on a vacation after WrestleMania 37 and explore the majestic sights of this country. Bobby Lashley is currently preparing for his fight against Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 37 which will take place later this month in Tampa, Florida.
The former army veteran and MMA fighter will be defending his WWE title in the blockbuster fight at The Showcase of the Immortals against former champion McIntyre.
Lashley took some time off from his busy schedule to speak with indiatoday.in and during the interview he confessed his love for India. Lashley has a massive fan base in India and said that he feels at home whenever he interacts with them through social media.
“Every time I come to India my fans embrace me, I feel like I’m home. After WrestleMania I hope I have a little time off, and I hope things open up a little more. As soon as it does, we are going to be down there.
“When I look at my Instagram, I have a lot of fans from India and I try to keep up with them. Hopefully, next time I go to India it’s going to be on vacation, so I can explore and have a good time,” Bobby Lashley told India Today.
‘WrestleMania is going to be crazy’
Lashley is also very excited at the prospect of fighting in front of the fans at WrestleMania. WWE is going to allow fans to come and watch the showpiece event live at the Raymond James Stadium.
“Right now is one of the best times to get into wrestling. Everybody is hungry, the fans want to see us, and we want to see them, we want to get united again.
“And I think this WrestleMania is going to be crazy because we are going to have the fans after an entire year. It’s going to be a great show,” Lashley said.
