IPL 2021: COVID hits SRH and DC camps – Wriddhiman Saha and Amit Mishra test positive | Cricket News – Eagles Vine

NEW DELHI: After breaching the bio-bubbles of KKR and CSK, Covid has now hit the Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Capitals camps.
Sunrisers Hyderabad’s wicket-keeper batsman Wriddhiman Saha and Delhi Capitals spinner Amit Mishra have tested positive for COVID-19.

Saha is currently in Delhi for his team Sunrisers Hyderabad’s clash against Mumbai Indians on Tuesday. He tested positive in Delhi. Mishra is currently in Ahmedabad for DC’s match against Kolkata Knight Riders, scheduled to take place on May 8 at the Narendra Modi stadium. He tested positive in Ahmedabad.
KKR vs RCB was the first match to be postponed after two KKR team members tested positive for COVID-19. The match between CSK and RR on Wednesday has also been postponed, after Laxmipathy Balaji, the CSK bowling coach tested positive, along with their CEO and a bus cleaner.
IPL 2021 has been suspended.
