Rajasthan Royals ace bowler Jofra Archer certainly seems to have some relation with the famous French astrologer from the 16th Century, Nostradamus.

The astrologer is known for having predicted a few instances that were to happen several years later, and Archer seems to have the same ability.

On Friday, soon after Archer dismissed the ‘Universe Boss’ Chris Gayle on 99, a tweet by the England pacer that he had posted in 2013 started to go viral on social media.

It was his franchise, Rajasthan Royals, who posted it on their official Twitter handle with a comment ‘100%’.

In the tweet posted on February 23, 2013 Archer has said, ‘I know if I was bowling I know he wasn’t getting da 100’.

Soon social media was going abuzz with this post with many fans commenting on the eerie similarity with Friday’s instance.

Chris Gayle was batting on 99 runs from 62 balls in the final over of the match. He had just pulled Archer for a six the ball before, and was one run away from another IPL century. There were three more balls left in the innings, but Archer bowled a yorker on the leg that was absolutely unplayable, and Gayle was cleaned up.

It was the second time in his IPL career that the mighty hitter was stranded a run away from an IPL hundred.

Gayle even threw his bat away in frustration after the dismissal, but then in a lovely gesture, Archer shook the hand of the big man as he walked away to the pavilion.

Archer, who was the best Royals bowler on the day finished with 2-28 in his 4 overs, in a game that was a must-win for his team to stay in contention for the IPL play-offs.
