Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma on Wednesday became the batsman with the most runs against any particular opposition in the Indian Premier League.
The Mumbai batsman now has 904 runs against the Kolkata Knight Riders after his fantastic innings of 80 runs off 54 balls at Abu Dhabi on Wednesday. He has one hundred and six fifties against KKR in the IPL.

In the process he overtook Sunrisers Hyderabad’s David Warner, who previously lead the list with 829 runs against KKR.
Royal Challengers Bangalore’s Virat Kohli features third in the list with 825 runs against his home team of Delhi Capitals. The fourth in the list is again the Australian David Warner, who has scored 819 runs against Kings XI Punjab.
The next two spots are filled by the Chennai Super Kings batsman Suresh Raina, who has hit 818 runs each against Mumbai Indians as well as Kolkata Knight Riders.
Rohit Sharma on Wednesday also joined another prestigious club, becoming the 4th batsman after Chris Gayle, AB de Villiers and MS Dhoni to hit 200 sixes in IPL.
The Mumbai Indians skipper is now only 10 runs away from another personal milestone, to become the 3rd player after RCB’s Virat Kohli and CSK’s Suresh Raina in the list of players with at least 5000 runs in the Indian Premier League.
