India vs England: Shikhar Dhawan and Shreyas Iyer join Team India squad ahead of T20I series in Ahmedabad

India star batsmen Shikhar Dhawan and Shreyas Iyer on Tuesday joined their Team India counterparts who are getting ready to play England in the fourth Test in Ahmedabad on March 4.

The two batsmen are part of the T20I squad that will play a five-match series against England starting in Ahmedabad on March 12.

Dhawan on Tuesday took to Twitter to post a photo of himself along with Shreyas Iyer and captioned it, “Playing it cool with Mr Iyer. Great to be back with Team India.”

Both the batsmen are coming to Ahmedabad after a good-run in the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy. Dhawan recently hit 153 off 118 balls to help Delhi chase down a 330-run target against Maharashtra. He went on to hit 21 fours and one six in the innings.

Iyer, who plays for Mumbai, was also among runs as he hit two centuries in the ongoing series. The first century came against Maharashtra while the second one came against Rajasthan.
