Hardik Pandya wishes ‘big bro’ Krunal on his 30th birthday: I am lucky to have you by my side

One of the stars of the first ODI between India and England on Tuesday, Krunal Pandya turned 30-year-old on Wednesday. Fans have flooded internet with birthday posts for the southpaw who made his ODI debut yesterday and smashed a 26-ball fifty, the fastest one in the world to do so in his maiden 50-overs format outing.

Krunal Pandya was all pumped up during his 31-ball 58 knock in the series opener on Tuesday. He flicked, he pulled, he got into argument with opposition players, he punched his helmet, he cried and he hugged his younger brother after the record innings. Yes, these many things happened in a span on 4 hours! Emotions were flowing, Krunal dedicated his innings to his father, who passed away in January this year.

The 30th birthday will be the one which Krunal will never ever forget. His brother Hardik Pandya is also trying to make it sure. He has posted a heartfelt message from his “big bro”, saying that he was lucky to have him by his side.

“We’re on this journey together bhai right from the start. The highs, the lows, I’m lucky to have you by my side. Happy birthday big bro,” Hardik has captioned the video he posted on Instagram. ‘Tere jaise yaar kahan’, the famous song by legendary Kishore Kumar is running in the background of the video.

Hardik had posted another special message for Krunal on Tuesday. It had come after the whirlwind knock of his brother who was in tears on multiple occasion during the high-octane clash against Eoin Morgan’s men.

“Papa would be proud. He’s smiling down on you bhai and sent an early birthday gift for you. You deserve the world and more. I couldn’t be happier for you bhai. This one is for you Papa,” Hardik had wrote.
