Looks like Eli Manning’s been hitting the gym, or so he says.
The recently retired 40-year-old jokingly accused former Giants teammate Saquon Barkley of superimposing his legs onto one of the 24-year-old’s workout photos.
“Please stop photoshopping my legs onto your body,” the two-time Super Bowl champ responded to a photo of Barkley’s well-toned legs completing drills.
The star running back has been known for his physique and extremely strict workouts. Manning, on the other hand, has previously been mocked about his “dad bod,” especially in comparison to his brother, Peyton.
Barkley has been rehabbing from the torn ACL he suffered last year, though a timetable for his return to the field remains unclear.
While he must still rebuild strength, the Giants have not been shy to show off Barkley’s recovery process and intense workouts to return to top form. The official team account tweeted a video of the young star in April showing a brutal workout he was partaking in, leaving many gawking at his tree-trunk quads.
