Apex Council members, state unit representatives to attend IPL final | Cricket News – Eagles Vine

MUMBAI: The Indian government’s ‘unlock’ relaxations seem to have reached the country’s cricket administration too.
The BCCI has invited its Apex Council members and state associations representatives to watch the IPL final, scheduled to be held on November 10 in UAE. In the case of state units, only the president or the secretary of an association can travel to watch the all-important clash.
In normal circumstances, the BCCI would have invited both the secretary and the president of the association for the opening ceremony and the play-offs.
In an e-mail (a copy is with TOI) to all the state units of India and the BCCI’s Apex Council members, Board secretary Jay Shah has written: “It is my pleasure to invite you to witness the final match of the Dream 11 IPL 2020 to be played in UAE, on Tuesday, 10th November 2020 at 06:00 PM. The BCCI will make the following arrangements: Business Class Air Tickets (to & fro). Accommodation on bed and breakfast basis at the hotel. Travel Dates: Arrival in UAE on 8th November and Departure on 11th November. Daily Allowance of $ (USD) 400, airport pick up/drop and local ground transport.”
