Post meal sweet cravings hitting you hard? These delicious almond-til pinnis are here for you. To make this sweet you need 1 cup wheat flour, 1 cup sooji, ¼ cup crushed sesame seeds, ¼ cup almond flakes, ½ cup ghee, 1 cup powdered jaggery or sugar and ½ cup water.
Heat ghee in a pan, add sooji, wheat flour and cook until golden brown in colour. Prepare a sugar or jaggery syrup in a separate container by mixing sugar/jaggery and water. Now mix the syrup with the wheat flour mixture. Cook till the mixture becomes a little dry. Once done, add sesame seeds and almond flakes. Once done, make small pinnis from the mixture. Roll in sesame seeds and place an almond on top of every pinni.
