When Priyanka Chopra shared Dia Mirza and she would call Lara Dutta ‘mom’ – Eagles Vine

Back in 2000, stars Priyanka Chopra, Lara Dutta, and Dia Mirza had all won international pageants. While Priyanka was crowned ‘Miss World’ and Dia as ‘Miss Asia Pacific’, Lara Dutta was crowned as ‘Miss Universe’. Few years later, Priyanka had once shared about a feeling of competition between her, Lara and Dia and also added how Lara guided them.

In a conversation with Simi Garewal, when Priyanka was 23, she opened up on their equation when they were competing at pageants. Speaking of the same, she admitted that there was a competition. After which, the ‘Mary Kom’ actress shared, “I looked up to Lara quite a bit, because she’d had so much experience. Dia was 18, and I was 17, and we were like these little babes”

She added, “We used to call Lara ‘mom’..I wouldn’t know what to wear, or how my makeup was. And I remember one time she took me to the bathroom, and she showed me the right makeup to use for my skin… Totally look up to her for that.”

Meanwhile on the work front, She will next be seen in ‘Text For You’ which also features Celine Dion and Sam Heughan in the lead roles. Apart from that, the actress will also be seen in ‘Matrix 4’. She is all set to make her comeback in Bollywood with a road-trip film ‘Jee Le Zara’. Helmed by Farhan AKhtar, the film will also have Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif in pivotal roles.

Lara on the other hand has been making heads turn with her uncanny resemblance to Indira Gandhi in her upcoming film ‘Bell Bottom’.
