After a long break, Vicky Kaushal is back as he started prepping up for his next film, ‘The Immortal Ashwatthama’. On Saturday morning, the actor took to Instagram to offer a glimpse of his intense workout session. In his post, he mentioned how he has fought back after his covid-19 recovery.

Vicky tested positive for the deadly virus in April along with his rumoured girlfriend, Katrina Kaif. Vicky revealed that he has finally managed to hit a new personal record after the recovery.

In the video, the actor can be seen acing a heavy deadlift in the gym. After successfully nailing it, he can be seen celebrating it with his trainer. Sharing the video with his fans, Vicky wrote, “After a slow post-covid recovery we finally managed to hit a new personal record with deadlifts. So ya, we were happy boys in the park this morning! @mustafa_thebull_ahmed #fightback 🔥” Have a look:

Soon after he shared the video, Tiger Shroff was quick to drop a comment on it. He was quite impressed by Vicky as he wrote, “What a lift bro! 🔥👏” Even Vicky’s fans were all praise for him as they dropped heart and fire emojis in the comments section.

Recently, Vicky gave a glimpse of his prep for his next with Aditya Dhar. In the photo, Vicky’s face is seen covered in a white cast while Aditya is seen standing behind him and posing for the camera. Along with the picture, Vicky had written, “When the Director’s really serious about ‘casting’ you in the Film. Prepping to be The Immortal! @adityadharfilms #TheImmortalAshwatthama”

On the work front, Vicky also has Shoojit Sircar’s Sardar Udham Singh biopic and Meghna Gulzar’s Sam Manekshaw in his kitty. He will be also seen in Karan Johar’s ‘Takht’.
