Siddhant Chaturvedi took to his Instagram handle to share an emotional video letter for Sushant Singh Rajput as he remembered the late actor on his first death anniversary today.

In the video, the actor has compiled all memorable moments of Sushant from off the camera and from his films to create a beautiful video collage. In the background, he is heard speaking in Bhojpuri as they shared a regional connect. He captioned the sweet video, ‘A letter to Sushant Singh Rajput’

Last year, Siddhant had shared a video of Sushant and him dancing on ‘Chikni Chameli’ at a talent event. According to the ‘Gully Boy’ actor, sharing the stage with Sushant, is indirectly what made a young student like Siddhant feel he could pursue a career in Bollywood.

Siddhant’s description of the video mentioned how that experience on stage filled him with joy and confidence for what lies ahead: “Jeeta main, nache hum dono… mera confidence uske baad ufff! Us raat soye nahi main aur mera parivaar… mera naam goonja stage pe, wo bhi Sushant Singh Rajput ki awaaz mein! wah! Mummy Papa ko laga ki kuch toh baat hogi mujh mein bhi… CA chhoro beta, hero bante hain! Permission mil gai.”

Sushant passed away on June 14, 2020. The actor was found hanging in his Mumbai apartment under mysterious circumstances.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Siddhant will next be seen in Shakun Batra’s next where he will be seen sharing the screen space with Deepika Padukone and Ananya Panday in lead roles.

Apart from this, he also has ‘Phone Bhoot’ where he will be seen starring alongside Ishaan Khatter and Katrina kaif. Siddhant is also a part of ‘Bunty Aur Babli’. The film will also star Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji in lead roles.
