Vicky Kaushal shares a glimpse of Aditya Dhar’s “serious casting” as he preps up for ‘The Immortal Ashwatthama’ – Eagles Vine

Vicky Kaushal has already started prepping for his upcoming superhero film, ‘The Immortal Ashwatthama’. He shared a sneak peek of the same with his fans and called it director Aditya Dhar’s “Serious casting”.

In the photo, Vicky’s face is seen covered in a white cast. The filmmaker is seen standing behind the actor, holding up a peace sign for the camera. ‘The Immortal Ashwatthama’ is the second film of Vicky with Aditya. The actor-director had earlier collaborated for ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’. The movie also starred Aditya’s now-wife Yami Gautam and Kirti Kulhari in key roles.

The superhero film will also reportedly star Sara Ali Khan as the female lead. This will be the first time when Vicky and Sara will be seen pairing up for a movie.

Other than this, Vicky has two biopics lined up ahead of him that include Shoojit Sircar’s Sardar Udham Singh and Meghna Gulzar’s Sam Manekshaw.

Apart from this, he is also a part of Karan Johar’s period drama, ‘Takht’. It boasts of an ensemble star cast that includes, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor in lead roles.

Sara, on the other hand, also has Aanand L Rai’s ‘Atrangi Re’ in her kitty. The movie will also star Dhanush and Akshay Kumar in lead roles. It was supposed to hit the theatres On Valentine’s Day this year. However, it got delayed owing to the ongoing pandemic. The new release dates are yet to be announced by the makers.
