‘Torbaaz’ producer Rahul Mittra contracts COVID for the second time; says, “Thank God I’ve come out unscathed”- Exclusive! – Eagles Vine

Just when the producer of the Sanjay Dutt, Nargis Fakhri, Rahul Dev-starrer ‘Torbaaz’, was making plans to go for the second dose of COVID vaccine, he found himself infected with the virus for the second time. It was just in September last year that Mittra, his wife and son had tested positive. “I am fine now, but don’t ever remind me of this again. I am quite irritated about whatever happened,” Rahul told ETimes, when contacted this morning.

According to Rahul, he contacted COVID for the second time about two weeks ago when he had just booked an appointment to get inoculated again. “I had taken maximum care after the first dose. How did I get it again? Maybe it happened because I made a mistake of going to my friend’s house two weeks back. A day or two later, I had symptoms of flu and the fever wouldn’t subside with paracetamol. My doctor asked me to get the COVID test done and our fears came true,” he informed.

Rahul, who has also produced the ‘Sahib Biwi Aur Gangster’ series, ‘Sarkar 3’, ‘Revolver Rani’ and ‘Bullet Raja’, says that the intensity of COVID was less this time. “But it was still draining for me to go through the entire quarantine process. Even the thought that I would have to undergo the isolation drill all over again was damn frustrating. Luckily this time, my wife and son were not infected,” concluded Mittra, but not before adding, “Thank God, I’m out of it this time too unscathed. Finally, I tested negative yesterday”.
