Just last year, Mallika gave it back to a troll who accused her of promoting rape culture through her films. The actress had tweeted about the horrific Hathras rape case. Replying to the same, a Twitter user wrote, ‘But the kind of roles you have played in Bollywood movies contradict your statement. Don’t you think the kind of message you deliver through your movies also plays an important role. Improvement should start from the person who is making the statement first.’
