Taapsee Pannu and Anurag Kashyap’s properties being raided by the Income Tax department – Eagles Vine

Taapsee Pannu and filmmaker Anurag Kashyap have landed in trouble with Income Tax department with their properties in Mumbai getting under the scanner. Raids are being conducted by the investigating agency at Taapsee and Anurag Kashyap’s properties in the city, confirmed the Income Tax Department. According to a source, tax evasion angle is being probed and those related to production house Phantom films will also be under the scanner.


Film producer Madhu Mantena and director Vikas Bahl are also reportedly under the lens of the I-T department. Raids are being conducted at around 20 locations in Mumbai, Pune and other places.

Interestingly, Taapsee Pannu recently began shooting for director Anurag Kashyap’s upcoming thriller ‘Dobaaraa’. The film marked their third collaboration after ‘Manmarziyaan’ (2018) and ‘Saand Ki Aankh’ (2019). Taapsee had shared a candid picture from the sets with Anurag last month and shared, “Coz some collaborations deserve to be repeated…. Ready to create more memories because we were running out of Manmarziyaan stories to tell…”
