Stacey Solomon celebrates bringing son Rex home from hospital in pregnancy update

Tap to Tidy influencer and Loose Women panellist Stacey Solomon, 31, has taken to social media to celebrate having her youngest son Rex, two, out of the hospital and back home at Pickle Cottage, following a “traumatising” accident which saw the toddler need stitches in his lip. In an emotional post, Stacey – who is pregnant with her fourth child with fiance Joe Swash, 39,  revealed that she was overjoyed at having her toddler home, while giving fans an update on her pregnancy.

In view of her 4.5 million followers, Stacey looked back on the past five days.

She wrote: “Home sweet home – it’s been a funny old week.”

The author went on to reveal how having her two-year-old and dogs Peanut and Theo reunited made her emotional.

“But being home and seeing Rex back with his fur brother and sister has just made my heart happy,” she confessed.

Addressing Theo’s content looking face, the star explained that she was glad to be back at home with her youngest.

“Theo’s face is just a mood, it’s exactly how I feel right now to be tucked up with these three,” Stacey said.

The fiance of TV personality Joe Swash went on to thank her fans for their support over the past week, before revealing that she is suffering from swollen feet.

She continued: “Thank you for your loveliness all week. I love you all.

“He hurt his lip so we took him into A&E and he had some little butterfly strips put on.”

But Stacey revealed that Rex did in fact need proper stitches before adding that they were planning to return to hospital to have them done.

Following the procedure and after they returned home, the star revealed that she had to take her youngest back into hospital after he started to develop a high temperature.

Before the return trip to hospital, Stacey, who is also mum to Zachary, 13, and Leighton, nine, said she was feeling more “traumatised” by the incident than her son.

Just last week, Stacey announced her pregnancy on social media following an earlier heartbreaking miscarriage.

“We are growing another pickle,” she excitedly told fans, while sharing an adorable family photo which showed her middle son holding the baby scan picture.

“We’ve never felt so grateful… I have no words.

“We didn’t think we would get the chance,” she said at the time.
