Ever since Afghanistan collapsed to the Taliban regime, and people literally scrambled to flee the war-torn country, supports have poured in for the Afghans on social media. Just like many other Bollywood celebs, Sonu Sood, too, had offered his prayers and expressed solidarity with the nation. And now, the popular actor has once again raised his voice for the Afghan people in distress. He urged the nation to be strong.

Sonu took to his Twitter handle and wrote, “The world should show the solidarity to Afghanistan by giving jobs and a good living to every Afghan family that became homeless.”

He continued, “Also all the Indians who lived in Afghanistan all their life and now are homeless, they need us. It’s Now or Never. Jai Hind.”

Meanwhile, the actor is overwhelmed to see how a cyclist from Uttar Pradesh climbed to the top of Africa’s highest peak, Mt. Kilimanjaro, and dedicated his feat to him. Sonu heaped praise on the youngster and said: “I feel so proud of Uma that he went ahead to achieve something so difficult. It is his hard work and determination that helped him attain this feat. I feel so moved by his gesture and his words. He is an inspiration for our youth.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, the popular actor who has become a national hero for his social works during the pandemic will next be seen in the Hindi historical drama ‘Prithviraj’ and the Telugu action flick ‘Acharya’.
