Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar to produce Atlee’s action drama? – Eagles Vine

Shah Rukh Khan is back and how! While keeping mum about his movies, the actor is on a signing spree and will be shooting back-to-back projects. SRK has extensively shot for ‘Pathan’ and is all set to start work on South filmmaker Atlee’s next project. A source informed a news portal that Atlee had approached Shah Rukh Khan with a plot line in 2019 and in March this year he narrated the final script to the actor. The ‘Jab Harry met Sejal’ actor was quick to jump onboard and will reportedly produced this yet-untitled film with friend Karan Johar. This movie promises several powerful sequences and stylised action drama.

Apart from this, Shah Rukh Khan is also in advance talks with filmmakers Raj and Krishna DK. They will be collaborating for a comedy-action thriller. SRK is also reportedly working on a film with Rajkumar Hirani. Recently during an #AskSRK session on Twitter a fan requested the actor to shoot for a music video to which Shah Rukh Khan replied, “Nahi yaar ab toh bahut saari movies hi aayengi”, hinting at a long list of entertainers in near future.

Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in 2018 release ‘Zero’. The Aanand L Rai directorial features Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in the lead. The film tanked at the box office and since then SRK has not officially announced his next film, despite several rumours about his professional commitments. Speaking about his break from films, Shah Rukh Khan had previously stated, “I wanted to spend some time with my children and hear such stories which are loved by the audience. I have been working on a lot of films, with lot of directors and I like to talk about a film only once it goes on the floors.”
