Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan and other celebs pay tribute on International Nurses day – Eagles Vine

Today marks International Nurses day and social media is flooded with notes full of gratitude for the frontline workers of the healthcare system in India and across the country. The latest ones to join the social bandwagon are the Bollywood celebs who are now taking turns to pay tribute to the COVID-19 warriors amid the pandemic.

Abhishek Bachchan shared a heartfelt video and wrote on Twitter, “The nurses have kept humanity above everything else working long hours & risking their lives to protect their patients. This #InternationalNursesDay I salute their relentless efforts & their undying spirit to fight Covid-19. We’ll always be indebted to you all.”

“In the past few days, I’ve come across news of nurses trying to uplift the spirit of their patients while they themselves are going through emotional & physical stress. My heartfelt gratitude to you all for everything that you’re doing for us” tweeted Sanjay Dutt.

Highlighting the importance of nurses who are working day and night ever since the virus outbreak, Sidharth Malhotra shared on social media, “Every day, while most of us are staying at home, nurses are working round the clock to keep us healthy. They have always been, and will continue to be, crucial to our well-being. Thank you to all the nurses for working tirelessly to save lives… Happy #InternationalNursesDay.”

Soon after this, several others from B-Town, including Richa Chadha, Randeep Hooda, Boney Kapoor and more penned down their thoughts to thank the doctors and nurses.
