Contrary to the reports, the makers of Salman Khan and Pooja Hegde starrer, ‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali’ has not been shelved.

The makers of the film took to their official Twitter handle to rubbish all reports doing the rounds that stated that the Salman Khan starrer has been shelved.

The producers of the film also added that the set of the film is being constructed. Even the songs of the film have been recorded. They even went on to inform fans that the actors will start shooting for the film in two months.

Reports were doing the rounds that the makers have shelved Salman Khan’s film with Pooja Hegde because the superstar’s last outing ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’ was a flop.

Slamming the fake reports doing the rounds, the makers wrote, “We would like to deny all the #FakeNews #EmbarassingJournalism The set is being constructed & songs have already been recorded. Shooting begins in 2 Months.’

Earlier slated for an Eid 2021 release, ‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali’ was pushed ahead owing to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting lockdown.

Salman is currently shooting for the third instalment of his popular ‘Tiger’ franchise. The actor, along with Katrina Kaif, has flown to Austria for their 10-day schedule. After completing that, the team is expected to return to the country and shoot the remaining portion of the film in Mumbai. Apart from Salman and Katrina, the movie also reportedly stars Emraan Hashmi in the lead role.

Salman Khan also has ‘Kick 2’ in his pipeline where he will be sharing screen space with Jacqueline Fernandez once again.
