Actor and filmmaker Rajiv Kapoor passed away today after suffering a heart attack. He was the youngest of late legend Raj Kapoor’s three sons and the younger brother of Randhir Kapoor and late Rishi Kapoor. He was 58. Neetu Kapoor took to her social media handle to confirm the news of his death. She shared a photograph of Rajiv on Instagram on Tuesday afternoon and wrote “RIP”, along with a folded hands emoji.

Recently, Rajiv’s family members were clicked as they arrived at his residence in Chembur. Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Babita were snapped as they left from their house. Chunky Panday, Aadar Jain, Tara Sutaria, Neetu, Ranbir Kapoor among others were snapped as they arrived at Rajiv’s house in Chembur.

The late actor shot to fame with his starring role in Raj Kapoor’s 1985 blockbuster ‘Ram Teri Ganga Maili’ co-starring Mandakini. He is known for his films like ‘Lava’, ‘Zalzala’ and ‘Zabardast’. He made his feature directorial debut with ‘PremGranth’, starring Rishi and Madhuri Dixit.

Rishi Kapoor’s daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni too shared the picture of her late uncle and wrote, “Good bye uncle ♥️ #RIP”.
