Philip Schofield throws support behind Holly Willoughby after move away from This Morning

Phillip Schofield, 58, has praised his friend and colleague Holly Willoughby, 40, after she announced her new project on Instagram yesterday. The This Morning host revealed on her Instagram that she is set to release a book, Reflections, later this year.

The novel is described by Holly as exploring all her “thoughts and musings” on “inner and outer beauty”.

Phil shared his This Morning co-host’s post on his Instagram story and typed alongside it: “To my bestie, if your wisdom does for everyone, what it did for me, then it’s already a bestseller already.”

Not just using his words to express his excitement over the news, the 58-year-old also shared a number of clapping hands and heart emojis.

Holly was grateful for the support from her close friend, as she reposted the story from Phil on her own social media and typed: “Love you!”

The mum-of-three was absent from This Morning last week, as she surprised fans by announcing she would be taking an extended Easter break for a “secret” project.

Rochelle Humes stepped in to join Phil on the programme, while Holly continued to upload snaps from home as she worked away on her latest venture.

Yesterday the star broke the news on Instagram that she set to release a book in October.

She typed: “This is a message I’ve been looking forward to sending… I’ve been working on a very special project – a book!

“This book is my celebration of how inner and outer beauty can work together in perfect harmony.

“I hope this book will start conversations, whether they’re about how to find your signature lipstick, reclaim your sexuality, or treat yourself more kindly – and, ultimately, what it means to feel beautiful, confident, complete.”

Holly went on to add how excited fans would be able to get their hands on a signed copy of the book.

She continued: “You can pre-order signed copies if you like, the link is in my bio. I can’t wait to share it with you all and yet can’t help but feel nervous at the same time…

“I think the more important something is… the scarier it feels… deep breath… I hope you enjoy it…. #reflections.”

She teased the novel’s artwork as she appeared on its front cover looking radiant in a pink jumper, alongside the words “cover to be revealed”.

On her Instagram story, Holly admitted she had felt “nervous” over making the announcement as there are “little pieces” of herself between pages of the book.

Looking stylish in a white blouse paired with jeans and her hair freshly tousled, the TV presenter explained: “We live in this society where an awful lot of us on social media we put a lot of ourselves out there visually.

“But sometimes what is going on under the surface doesn’t match what is out there.”
