‘Pathan’: Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham are all set for their Middle East schedule – Eagles Vine

After wrapping up with the Mumbai schedule, Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham are all set for their Middle East schedule. The makers of the film are currently scouting for locations where they can shoot high-octane action scenes featuring the lead actors.

According to a report in a news portal, Shah Rukh and Deepika play RAW (Research & Analysis Wing) agents, with Dimple Kapadia slipping into the role of the department’s head. Actors shot for emotional scenes during the last two schedules at a studio in Mumbai. Now, the stage is being set for the action scenes, which will be the highlight of the spy thriller.

The report added that a stylised chase sequence with Shah Rukh and John will be shot in Abu Dhabi. The team started their recce from the UAE capital, where they visited some iconic and popular places. The unit reportedly plans to kick off its Middle East schedule in mid-February. Once the locations are finalised, the team will make arrangements to shoot in a bio-bubble. This will be John’s first schedule of ‘Pathan’ where he plays the antagonist.

Directed by Siddharth Anand, the movie will also feature Salman Khan in a special cameo role. The actor will be seen playing ‘Tiger’ from his popular ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ series and will help Shah Rukh Khan take down the baddies in the film.
