NCB’s Sameer Wankhede on Ajaz Khan’s arrest in drug case: He is definitely facing some serious charges – Eagles Vine

Actor Ajaz Khan has been detained by the Narcotics Control Bureau in a drug-related case. The actor is being questioned by the investigative agency for several hours now. When contacted, NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede said, “We have found his involvement in the Shadab Batata case and he is definitely facing some serious charges. His statement is being recorded at present.”

Ajaz Khan returned to Mumbai from Rajasthan after which NCB took him into custody at the airport.

The agency arrested Shadab Batata in the drugs case last Thursday. It is being said that Ajaz is a part of the Batata gang. NCB recently raided various places like Lokhandwala, Versova and Mira Road. During the raids, quantities of MDMA drug was recovered by NCB worth Rs 2 crore.

Meanwhile, this is not the first time that the actor’s name has cropped up in a drug case. Back in 2018, he was arrested by the Navi Mumbai Police for allegedly possessing banned drugs.
