Martin Roberts ‘hacked off’ at Strictly bosses as they refuse call to discuss 2021 stint

Fans took to the comments section of Martin’s post, which he captioned: “I need your help  #martin4strictly.”

One person jokingly suggested: “Hi Martin, as one of your loyal soldiers, I am more than prepared to send suspicious parcels* to the heads of production, and perhaps spread some rumours about them around BBC HQ** (eg: they sell Avon on the side, or they wear velcro shoes). *I will not do this **I’ll do this.”

“Loving the approach. It could just work,” Martin replied to the fan.

Another fan added: “Nicest man on tv!!!! What’s not to like. I’m on the case #martinforstrictly xxxx.”

A third person commented: “Please give Martin a chance he would be great in Strictly his enthusiasm his warm personality and an all round lovely guy.”

A fourth penned: “You’re on Martin! I’d vote for you!!”
