Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Kapoor’s reunion show ‘Finding Anamika’ wrapping up shoot – Eagles Vine

Insiders have revealed to ETimes that the finishing touches for Madhuri Dixit’s debut web series, ‘Finding Anamika’ are currently being shot at Madh Island in Mumbai. An industry source says, “A two-day patchwork of the series with Madhuri Dixit is all that’s left for the show. The entire shooting of the web series has been completed.”

‘Finding Anamika’ will also see actor Sanjay Kapoor reunite with Madhuri on-screen after two decades. The last time they worked together was in Mohabbat (1997) alongside Akshaye Khanna. Their most memorable work together remains Raja (1995) which also featured the cult hit song ‘Ankhiyaan Milaoon Kabhi’.

With an intriguing and thrilling concept, the story of ‘Finding Anamika’ revolves around a global superstar who suddenly disappears. Her family with the help of the police try to track down the mother of two. The suspense series also features Manav Kaul, Lakshvir Saran, Muskkaan Jafari, and Suhasini Muley as part of the cast.

Madhuri Dixit started her career with a TV show ‘Bombay Meri Hai’ in 1984 followed by ‘Paying Guest’ and went on to become a superstar. The actress is presently judging a reality show ‘Dance Deewane’.

The show is being produced by Karan Johar with whom the actress has done two films in the past, ‘Kalank’ and ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’. The show is being directed by Bejoy Nambiar and Karishma Kohli.
