Jordan North: I’m A Celebrity star details moment he knew he had to leave home

BBC Radio 1 DJ Jordan North, 30, has become a firm fan-favourite on I’m A Celebrity, mostly for his sense of humour, quirkiness and kind heart. But also because he’s self-confessed scared of everything, which has made him catnip for viewers. Away from the fear of Bushtucker Trials, the radio host candidly remembered a stark memory that left him scarred for life and forced him to move out of his parent’s house for good.

“I knew I needed to leave home when my mum was veeting my back and we couldn’t find the scraper,” he said in a candid admission while chatting with his fellow camper Vernon Kay.

“So she rang my dad at work and she just used an old Blockbuster card and I knew there and then I need to move out!”

“I had to buy aloe vera cream and everything. Never again will I have a wax,” he laughed.

It comes after he recalled the painful chest and back wax he had before starring on the show.

Recently, the popular DJ had fans everywhere in stitches once again with one of his latest questions.

The loveable presenter couldn’t grasp what the word “reluctant” meant and it came as a shock to a fair few viewers.

“What does reluctant mean?” he asked during the recent Castle Coin Challenge.

Taking to Twitter, one fan was left stunned: “Can’t believe Jordan doesn’t know what reluctant means!”
