Jasmine Harman calls out A Place In The Sun co-star Danni Menzies for ‘granny chic’ style

A Place In The Sun presenter Jasmine Harman, 45, has taken to Instagram to call out her co-presenter Danni Menzies, 32, for wearing a chic gold glasses chain in a recent post. Taking to her stories, the mother-of-two jokingly jibed the blonde beauty for having the “cheek” to wear an accessory which she claimed was for an older age group, while branding her co-star’s fashion choice “granny chic”.

In view of her 81,500 followers, the property expert jovially took issue with the Scottish wardrobe choices.

Donning a purple and green printed dress, Jasmine wore her hair in loose waves as she filmed the property show in Spain.

Wearing a pair of giant tortoise shell print sunglasses which she secured to herself with a thin gold chain, Jasmine called out Danni for her “cheek”.

She said: “I’ve just seen Danni rocking an old ladies style glasses chain and I just wanted to say I literally cannot believe the cheek of some people.

Earlier in the year, Jasmine told Express.co.uk how she felt like she was the “oldest and fattest” A Place In The Sun presenter after landing a role on the Channel 4 programme 17 years ago, when she was just in her early twenties.

The Channel 4 host compared herself to younger presenters including Laura Hamilton, 39, Danni Menzies, 32, and Scarlette Douglas, 32, when she made the comment.

She said: ““I feel like out of all the lovely A Place In The Sun presenters, we have got such a great team, I feel like out of the girls, out of the women… I’m the oldest and the fattest.

However, Jasmine added that as the longest-serving presenter, she had the most experience on the property show.

She continued: “But I’m the most experienced in the show, so it’s got advantages and disadvantages, but in my head, I do sort of compare.

“I look at that lovely dress she’s wearing and then think, ‘I’m too old’.

“So you do obviously compare yourself to other people and I know logically it’s stupid, and everyone has their own things going on behind the scenes that you don’t see on social media,” Jasmine added.

A Place In The Sun is on weekdays on Channel 4 at 4pm.
