In a recent interview, Dan revealed that he had been approached by BBC bosses a “few times” to take part in the dance competition.
While the dad-of-three explained that while he enjoys watching Strictly, he is slightly apprehensive about showing the world his dance moves.
Dan told Express.co.uk: “I’ve been asked [to do Strictly] a few times. I see Strictly as a spectator sport.
“Also, I’m 6ft 6in and I’ve got an incredibly huge wingspan. They’d have to get a much bigger studio in there. But I do enjoy it and we like watching it as a family.”
He added: “My wife loves it. I’ve taken her to the Strictly shows a few times.”
