It’s out! Yash’s KGF: Chapter 2 to release on July 16 – Eagles Vine

One of the most anticipated films in India is Yash starrer KGF: Chapter 2. The sequel to KGF: Chapter 1 that managed to woo audiences across the nation is all set to release on July 16. The film has been directed by Prashanth Neel. The team wrapped up shoot in December, where they had an extensive schedule that featured Sanjay Dutt, who plays the principal antagonist on the film. There has been a great deal of excitement over every bit of news that the team has released and the teaser, which was released on the birthday of Rocky Bhai Yash went on to break big records becoming the most viewed teaser by many miles.

KGF is the story of the rise and fall and the life of Rocky Bhai, who was the most dreaded name in his lifetime. The dark imagery, the picturisation, music and characters went on to win many hearts of film buffs, ensuring that the second part had that anticipation. The film has many big names from Hindi, Tamil and Telugu industries who have joined the cast to add yo the charm and excitement. Among those who are part of the film are Sanjay Dutt who plays Adheera, a dreadful villain who is inspired by the Vikings and unleashes all brutality and no mercy. There is also Raveena Tandon, who plays Prime Minister Ramika Sen who has a big role to play in the future of the life of Rocky Bhai. Also a part of the cast is Prakash Raj, whose baritone adorned the teaser of the film. Srinidhi Shetty plays the leading lady in this film.

While Yash has not announced his next film after KGF officially, Prashanth has begun work on his next film this week. He is making Salaar with Prabhas that is currently being shot in Hyderabad. Shruti Haasan is the leading lady of the film and she joined the team from today. The technical crew is mostly the same that worked on KGF, which includes cinematographer Bhuvan Gowda and music director Ravi Basrur.
