‘I was on the brink of the beginning of the end’ BBC’s Deborah James in cancer update

The star, who is married to Sebastien Bowen, revealed that the aggressive tumour caused “dangerous toxins to flood her body”, leaving her struggling to function.

In her column for The Sun, she went onto say that as the jaundice took hold, she felt like she was “fading fast” and for the first time in her cancer battle felt like “death was around the corner”.

Following the operation the media personality said that she’s been facing an “anxious wait” to see whether her liver accepts the stent and its functionality starts to improve.

Despite undergoing emergency surgery, Deborah admitted that she was not out of the woods yet as medical professionals feared that she had developed sepsis, leading to the star having a “full meltdown”.
