Holly Willoughby ‘ecstatic’ as she catches Piers Morgan out with ‘elaborate’ viral prank

He tweeted: “A new mutant covid is on the rampage, Arsenal keep losing, the dreadful reality of Brexit is looming, Trump’s still chucking his toys out of the pram, Christmas is canned, and everyone on Twitter’s gone absolutely bonkers – including me.

“I’m done with 2020, see you in 2021.”

Piers hasn’t confirmed he will be taking a break from the social media platform but will likely address the situation this morning on the ITV flagship program.

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV.
