Gordon Ramsay speaks out after daughter signs up for Strictly Come Dancing 2021

Chef Gordon Ramsay never shies away from praising the success of his children and his latest Instagram post is no different. The potty-mouth star has shared his joy after his daughter Tilly Ramsay was revealed to be the next Strictly Come Dancing contestant today.

Matilda ‘Tilly’, 19, found fame as a chef, social media influencer and presenter, gaining almost one million followers on her Instagram page.

The star will be competing alongside the likes of Tom Fletcher, Robert Webb, AJ Odudu, John Whaite, Rhys Stephenson, Sara Davies, Katie McGlynn and BBC Breakfast’s Dan Walker.

Tilly chose to reveal her big secret on ITV’s This Morning, fronted by husband and wife duo, Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford.

Moments after she shared her announcement, her father, Gordon, 54, opted to share a sweet message to his daughter.

Tilly struggled to contain her excitement, taking to Instagram saying: “I’m so excited and grateful to be joining the Strictly family!

“I’m always up for fun new challenges and this will be my biggest adventure yet!

“I’m going to put my heart and soul into this and can’t wait to get my dancing shoes on and show my Dad how it’s really done!”

Tilly was reportedly forced to pull out of Strictly last year after falling off a seesaw and breaking her arm before rehearsals were meant to start.
