Exclusive Interview! Fahadh Faasil: The way a story is told is what matters to me the most – Eagles Vine

It has been over a decade since Fahadh Faasil has been actively working in cinemas. In this span, he has managed to become part of some exceptional films in Mollywood. The lion’s portion of work that he has done are some of the good movies that have happened in Mollywood in the past decade. In a recent roundtable conversation with a group of selected reporters, Fahadh Faasil spoke about his journey in cinema, and here’s what Fahadh Faasil shared with ETimes.

When asked Fahadh Faasil, what he looks for while selecting scripts, the most sought-after actor shared that he observes if the story is told in a fresh manner.

“I don’t like to be repetitive. Even if it’s a remake, I want to hear the story in a different way. So I think I like to hear the same stories narrated in different ways. The way a story is told is what matters to me the most,” Fahadh Faasil said.

The actor also shared that there’s no mystery or magic in it and it’s just luck that makes him choose good projects. “My wife calls me ‘Lucky Ali’, because I am very lucky! I am just at the right place at the right time. There’s no magic to it or any rocket science. It’s just happening,” the promising actor concluded.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Fahadh Faasil’s next outing in Malayalam is ‘Malik’, directed by Mahesh Narayanan. The film is scheduled to hit the big screens on Eid. The actor was recently working on his Telugu film ‘Pushpa’, which has Allu Arjun in the lead.
