BTS’ Jimin makes a thoughtful donation to aid polio patients ahead of World Polio Day; see fan reactions – Eagles Vine

K-Pop sensation BTS’s Jimin has once again proved to be the generous king with a hefty donation of 100 million won (approximately 84,200 USD) to a fundraising campaign aiming to create vaccines against polio permanently, right before World Polio Day.

Keeping details of his generous donation under wraps, reportedly Jimin ‘went forward with his donation through his father without telling anyone’ to the Gosung Rotary Club in July. However, it only came to the notice when a fan discovered a banner thanking Jimin hung by the Gosung Rotary Club.

Interestingly, Gosung is located near the South Gyeongsang Province of South Korea, almost adjacent to Jimin’s hometown, Busan.

As soon as the news became known to the public, BTS ARMY took to Twitter and started trending #Jimin while applauding him for his kind actions.

However, this is not the only time Jimin has made a donation in secret for a good cause. Earlier, he had made meaningful donations to his alma mater Busan High School of Arts, the Jeonnam Future Education Foundation, the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education and more.

Meanwhile, it was bandmate J-Hope who recently received a special mention from UNICEF for his recent speech on the importance of COVID-19 vaccination at the 76th
UN General Assembly.
