The band is all set to perform ‘Butter’ for the first time at the upcoming Billboard Music Awards on May 23. They are nominated in four categories.

The band will also kick off Good Morning America’s Summer Concert Series on May 28.

Speaking about the song, it is a dance-pop track with the band’s crisp synth sounds comprising RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook,. The choreography is a combination of group and unit dances, with highlight gestures such as stroking of hair, blowing kisses and walking on tiptoes.

“We hope that ‘Butter’ can be really the summer song for 2021. So we’ll try to do the best we can, work hard on our promos and our activities,” said group leader RM in a global press conference from Seoul.
