Doctors in the hospital reportedly stated that the cardiac arrest was due to a 100 percent block in the blood vessel. Rumours are rife that the actor had developed this complication after getting vaccinated against COVID-19.

Vivekh, who made his acting debut in K Balachander’s ‘Manathil Urudhi Vendum’, in 1987, went on to become one of the most sought-after comedians in Tamil cinema.
