Bolly Buzz: Saif Ali Khan in legal trouble; Arjun Rampal seeks time till December 21 from NCB

Before the cameras can even start rolling for ‘Adipurush’, the team has found themselves in a controversy with a petitioner who has deep faith in ‘Sanatan Dharma’, filing a case against the actor. The man along with a few others have claimed that a recent statement of Saif Ali Khan that the film Adipurush would bring out a ‘humane’ side of Ravan, has hurt their religious sentiments. As per the latest updates, the ACJM court has fixed December 23 for hearing of the matter.

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has summoned Arjun Rampal once again for questioning at its office on Wednesday. However, according to the reports, the actor has sought time till December 21. This update came shortly after Gabriella’s brother Agisilaos was granted bail on a surety of Rs 50,000 and asked to submit his passport and not to leave the city without informing the NCB.

Meanwhile, Sushmita Sen and her beau Rohman Shawl have jetted out of the city to spend the festive season with the girls Renee and Alisah in Dubai. Reportedly, soon the couple will have the entire family joining the fun as they celebrate Christmas and the New Year together. After the festivities, the couple will then head over to Kolkata for a family wedding.

Varun Dhawan, Neetu Singh, and director Raj Mehta who were earlier tested COVID-19 positive, have beaten the contagious virus and are now all set to get back to work. With the film sets thoroughly sanitised and strict restrictions set in place, the crew and cast members will walk out of isolation and onto the sets where they will resume shooting from December 19 in Chandigarh.

Superstar Salman Khan who will turn a year older next week, will ring in his birthday and keep the celebrations going all through the festive season. With his shooting calendar cleared out, only a few close friends and family will be called over to Khan’s Panvel farmhouse to join him for a private celebration.
