From Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif teaming up for a film to the internet losing their chill over Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan naming her second son Jehangir, Akshay Kumar reacting to his memes after Neeraj Chopra’s Olympic win, here’s all that happened on the entertainment front.

Farhan Akhtar is all set to take over the directorial reins once again for an all-girls road trip film titled, ‘Jee Le Zara’. The film brings together Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt for the first time. The film is currently slated for a release in 2023.

Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan’s real name is not Jeh, but Jehangir Ali Khan. People on social media have been creating a furore over the same once again. While haters hate over her baby names, Kareena is paying no attention simply because she is too busy being a boss. The actress has turned producer and collaborated with Ekta Kapoor for an untitled venture that will be directed by Hansal Mehta. The actress will also play the lead in the film that aims to create a fresh, gripping and moody thriller.

Akshay Kumar recently got chatty about his ‘Saugandh’ movie stills going viral after Neeraj Chopra’s historic Olympic win. When asked how he feels about this social media trend and even the possibility of fulfilling Neeraj’s wish and starring in his biopic, he said, “I think it’s very funny. I also saw that picture of mine where I am holding a stick. That still is from my film ‘Saugandh’ and it was really funny.”

After Shamita surprised everyone with her ‘Bigg Boss’ entry, word doing the rounds states that sister Shilpa Shetty is next in line to make her first appearance since husband Raj Kundra’s arrest. Shilpa, however, will do so for a good cause – to help raise funds for covid-19 relief efforts. The actress is expected to join a host of Bollywood and Hollywood stars including Ed Sheeran and Steven Spielberg among many others.

Ahead of the Independence weekend, Tiger Shroff got the tri-colours flying high as he released his cover of ‘Vande Mataram’. Dedicating the song and the video to fellow Indians, the actor penned a note of love to all, saying, “With great honour and pride, I present to you my first ever Hindi song- Vande Mataram. This will always be very special and close to my heart.”
